Looking to learn more about becoming a foster parent?
When children can not safely remain in their home, the RI Department of Children Youth and Families first look for relatives or family friends for these children to be placed with. If they are unable to be placed in a kinship home, DCYF then looks for a licensed foster home. Are you ready to become a resource family for a child in need?
