Founding Members
Founded in March 2016 by four foster parents who recognized the critical need for peer connection and support, The Village began as a grassroots effort to ensure foster, adoptive, and kinship families had access to resources, understanding, encouragement, and community from others with lived experience.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a supportive and welcoming community to all foster, adoptive and kinship families through peer support, advocacy, networking, recruitment, family events and resources.
Our Vision
We envision a community in which every child who is placed in out of home care has a safe, stable home and a vibrant future. It is also our hope that all foster mission is to provide a supportive and welcoming community to all foster, adoptive and kinship families feel valued and supported through their foster care journey.
