Support Group Facilitators
The Village has become well known for its peer-to-peer support and connections. Those connections often begin at one of our support groups.
The Village currently offers five support groups throughout the month, each facilitated by an experienced foster or adoptive parent. These groups provide foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers with a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where real-life experiences, challenges, resources, and successes can be openly shared. Families are encouraged to connect with others who understand the unique joys and complexities of caregiving through lived experience, creating a strong sense of community, encouragement, and peer support.
